I would go to the farm to capture media and then use it in Instagram posts to promote events for the farm.

Tik Toks

I made videos to be promoted on their TikTok, using fun ideas like tool of the week. A concept made to show off the ingenuity of the farmers.

Managed Socials

I would respond to follow requests and messages, and keep the channel active by commenting on other accounts. While also posting content that would promote those who helped us, like in the post above, which was made to thank Johnny’s Selected Seeds for donating seeds to the farm.

This is my work from a design class in the Fall of 2024. Although my design work is not perfect, the class taught me a lot of professional standards and made me more familiar with Adobe Indesign.

2025 Campaigns Capstone Class Project

For my advertising capstone class, my group and I had a project of making a mock advertising plan for Columbia Outdoor Wear.

The challenge was to make the campaign appealing to young women aged 18-28, which was also referred to as the Female Dynamic Active.

Research

Tatum collected data from a local climbing gym by interviewing young women climbers about what drives them to choose certain brands of outdoor wear.

Then I reviewed secondary sources to determine where and how to reach this audience most effectively. I also prepared the budget and media plan while our team was brainstorming the creative work.

After our group brainstormed the advertisements, Utpadel brought them to life visually. Then our group put together a presentation, with Lynn as the primary copy editor. When we presented our campaign to the class, the professor and the Columbia representative chose it as the best Campaign!
